The Ministry of Social Development's Youth Service is expanding to include youth aged 18 and 19. As a result, the Ministry has stated that information sharing arrangements will need to change.
The government has drafted an Approved Information Sharing Agreement. The agreement addresses information sharing between the Ministry of Education, Department of Corrections and Ministry of Social Development.
The Ministry of Social development is inviting submissions on the draft agreement from agencies involved in the Youth Service, potential recipients of the Youth Service and the public. The deadline for submissions is 6 May 2016.
