The Government has announced that an open competitive tender process to operate the National Sexual Violence Helpline will be coming soon.

The helpline will support people affected by sexual violence. The free service will include access to information, crisis support and referral to local service providers by phone, text, and online.

The tender is expected to be open on Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) in late May 2017. See the GETS Advance notice.

The helpline is part of the work being led by the Ministerial Group on Family Violence and Sexual Violence. Funding for the national helpline was included in the 2016 budget.
