The competitive tender is now open for the new national sexual violence helpline. The tender was released on the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) website.

The Ministry of Social Development is looking for organisations, collectives or consortiums that have the ability to deliver a new national helpline to provide support related to sexual violence. The helpline will provide free access to information, crisis support and referral on to local service providers.

More information about the service requirements and how to submit a proposal is available in the tender on the GETS website. The tender is open on GETS until 30 June 2017.

The helpline is part of the work being led by the Ministerial Group on Family Violence and Sexual Violence. Funding for the national helpline was included in the 2016 budget.
