The first batch of resources from the No To Violence conference held in Melbourne in November 2012 are now available online. The conference, Responses to Men’s Domestic and Family Violence: Experience, Innovations and Emerging Directions, was supported by Aotearoa New Zealand's National Network of Stopping Violence Services.

No to Violence says, "These resources are written for practitioners, program managers and policy workers who did not attend the conference, in addition to those who did and wish to revisit a workshop they participated in, or to learn from one they missed.

Approximately 25% of the resources have been uploaded to date. Workshops and plenary sessions are each being represented in one or more of the following forms:

  • Summary articles of 4 – 8 pages for selected workshops, written by a professional writer in accessible language to distil the themes, practice suggestions and policy implications of the workshop
  • Podcasts / streamed audio
  • Edited transcripts
  • PowerPoint presentations, some supplemented by additional notes

The remaining resources will be uploaded progressively over the coming two months."
