The Ministry of Justice will soon launch a contestable funding round to support sexual violence primary prevention projects across New Zealand.
Funding is available in two distinct streams to support:
1. Kaupapa and tikanga Māori driven sexual violence primary prevention initiatives.
2. Primary prevention initiatives run by tauiwi and/or bi-cultural organisations.
The Ministry will call for applications in late April 2011 and organisations will have around four weeks to submit applications. Funding will be available for successful projects from 1 July 2011.
