Welcome to our new Clearinghouse website, launched today
Mon 07 Oct 2019
We are pleased to launch our new NZFVC website today. Below we highlight new features and let you know where you can find the content you regularly use.
Why has the website changed?
In our last survey of NZFVC users, we asked what you thought of our previous website. People asked for easier navigation, more images and a more up to date ‘look and feel.’
The content you know is still here, but we hope the way it is organised will make it easier to find the information you need.
There are a few new features.
The search box at the top of the page is new. Use this to select whether you want to search the website (for latest news, events and statistics) or the library (for reports and research).
For more information about searching the library, go to library.nzfvc.org.nz or contact the Information Specialist.
New pages include:
- A Kaupapa Māori page highlighting where to find information specifically relating to Māori
- A Frequently Asked Questions page, answering the most common questions our Information Service receives by email
- A Definitions page provides commonly used definitions of family violence.
The changes incorporate feedback we have received from users, both over time and during the redesign phase.
Help, I can't find where things are anymore!
You will find links to familiar pages in the light green footer at the bottom of every page.
If you can't find information you use on the new website, please just email us – we're happy to let you know where it is now.
We would love to know what you think about the new website – please email us.
Thank you very much to all the NZFVC users who contributed your thoughts and time to the redesign. We are also grateful to Journey Digital for the design and the National Institute of Health Innovation for the technical build and ongoing IT support.
Thank you to all our users for continuing to read, engage and share information from NZFVC.
