The service provided by the New Zealand Family Violence Clearinghouse to policy makers, service providers and researchers has been confirmed for another three years.

The University of Auckland will continue to provide the Clearinghouse for the next three years contracted by the Ministry of Justice.

This support will replace that of the Social Policy Research and Evaluation Unit (Superu) which has previously supported the Clearinghouse. Superu is expected to be disestablished mid-2018.

Clearinghouse services will be continuing as normal with the same access points and same products, with the exception of the annual data summaries, which will not be produced under the new contract.

Over the past year we have recorded significant growth and we look forward to bringing you more of the same high quality services. The Ministry of Justice is a logical funder for NZFVC as there is a great alignment between the two organisation's goals. Like the Clearinghouse, the Ministry of Justice is committed to providing access to high quality research and information. This new partnership will strengthen solution focused dialogue across the justice sector and build towards our mutual goal of family and whānau relationships which are healthy, respectful, and free from violence.
