Koru House, a multi agency child abuse centre opens in Wellington

The Wellington Police District Child Protection Team, together with Child, Youth and Family, Hutt Valley District Health Board, Relationship Services and Barnados are taking a multi agency approach to the investigation of child abuse across the Wellington District and are relocating to a purpose built premises known as Koru House,base in Petone. The "one-stop" facility for children and their families wsa opened by the Minister of Police today.
