“Biggest Morning Tea” Fundraising Event

Preventing Violence in the Home, an Auckland domestic violence agency, is working with the Bank of New Zealand in a fundraising venture that encourages New Zealanders to “Stop for New Zealand's Biggest Morning Tea”.

The event involves people hosting a morning tea in their work-place, home or school sometime between 9th and the 20th of June 2008. Money will be raised through donations, auctions, or competition entry fees. Preventing Violence in the Home say that the funds raised will go to fund staff, and support their national helpline, 0508 DV HELP.
