Rape Awareness Week 4–8 May

Next week is Rape Awareness week, an opportunity for us all to raise awareness about sexual violence within the family.

It is estimated 1 in 3-5 girls and 1 in 6-10 boys are likely to be sexually abused or raped before the age of 16 in this country. Only 7.5% of cases of sexual abuse are ever officially reported.
