Ruth Beaglehole is an expatriate New Zealand who has devoted her life to fostering non-violent parenting among a poor community in California and founded the Centre for Non Violent Education and Parenting there. In this 37 minute radio interview she discusses the disciplining of children, myths and scientific understandings of child abuse, her own troubled upbringing and ways to break the cycle of abuse.
