Inside New Zealand Doco: Child Poverty

Inside New Zealand will screen a documentary on Tuesday 22nd of November, looking at Child Poverty in New Zealand.

New Zealand ranks second to last in child health and safety rankings of 30 OECD countries, with only Turkey having a worse record.

Last year, more than 25,000 children were admitted to hospital for respiratory infections. Doctors routinely treat cases of rheumatic fever and scabies - diseases that are now rare in Europe.
