Family Violence Death Review Committee Website

The Ministry of Health-led Family Violence Death Review Committee (FVDRC) has recently established a website to provide further access to information and news about the work of the committee.

The Family Violence Death Review Committee is an independent committee that reviews and advises the Minster of Health on how to reduce the number of family violence deaths.

FVDRC was appointed in July 2008 under sections 11 and 18 of the New Zealand Health and Disability Act 2000. The Committee met for the first time in October 2008.

The website provides an introduction to the Family Violence Death Review Committee, including information about our purpose, terms of reference, members, meetings, and history. Furthermore it has electronic access to all resources and publication, news and contact details.
