Evaluation Findings of Specialist Family Violence Courts Released

An evaluation summary of the specialist family violence courts in Manukau and Waitakere by the Ministry of Justice and Massey University has recently been released.

The evaluation summarises major findings from recently completed reports on the Manukau and Waitakere Family Violence Courts and was collected using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
It is hoped that the findings within the evaluation, although subject to limitations, will assist in improving the processes at both Family Violence Courts as well as inform the development and implementation of further additional Family Violence Courts in New Zealand.
