Emily Longely's parents are setting up a new foundation to raise awareness of domestic violence. Emily, 17, was killed by her boyfriend, Elliot Turner, in England in 2011.

A website for the foundation is being set up, hoped to be ready in the next month. Mark and Caroline Longley are reportedly hoping to join up with Lesley Elliott, whose 22-year old daughter Sophie was killed by her former boyfriend in Dunedin in 2008, and who has also set up a foundation in her daughter's memory.

Elliot Turner was found guily for the murder and jailed for at least 16 years in May. Last week, his parents were jailed for 27 months after being found guilty of perverting the course of justice.
