A discussion paper titled ‘Protecting Victims, Rebuilding Lives, Sending the Right Message’ has been released by a group called the It’s Still Not Ok Lobby Group.
The report documents the experiences of twenty women in their dealings with government departments in the process of attempting to leave or having left abusive relationships. The report highlights the systemic challenges to women looking to live violence free and aims to create positive change for fellow victims of domestic violence.
