The new Terms of Reference for the Taskforce and its Programme of Action for 2012/13 are available on the MSD website. Under the new Terms of Reference, the Taskforce will now meet quarterly rather than bimonthly. Meetings are likely to be attended at Deputy Chief Executive level for government agencies. Chief Exectives will now consider family violence as a quarterly agenda item at the Social Sector Forum. The Family Violence Ministerial Group will also meet quarterly.

The Programme of Action sets out the Taskforce priority areas for 2012/13: primary prevention, secondary and tertiary interventions, the costs of family violence and youth relationship violence. It also includes ongoing pieces of work: outcomes framework, monitoring and evaluation and workforce development and training.
