The Enhancing Leadership series build on Te Pai Ora SSPA's Social Sector Leaders’ Summit and is aimed at established social sector leaders to extend their leadership craft, nourish their own hauora, and build whanaungatanga across the social sector.

This tailored workshop series is designed to meet the needs of the community-based social sector. The topics and Kaitiaki have been carefully selected to provide attendees with the inspiration and tools they need to strengthen their leadership impact.

The series will comprise of six, 1-1.5 hour online sessions, starting on 30 April 2024.

The number of participants will be limited to 20 in the cohort. This format is intended to encourage mahi tahi, networking and the development of a supportive group. There will be a mix of presentation and group engagement through peer-to-peer facilitated discussion.

  • Session 3 Tuesday 21 May, 10am-11.30am - Leading through diversity, Jonathan Mosen, CEO, The WorkBridge Group

  • Session 4 Tuesday 4 June, 10am-11.30am - Foundations of good governance, Rose Hiha-Agnew, CEO, Te Tumu Whakarae Community Governance Aotearoa

  • Session 5 Tuesday 18 June, 10am-11.30am - Taking an intergenerational view on leadership, Kaye-Maree Dunn, Kaiwhakahaere Director, Making Everything Achievable

  • Session 6 Tuesday 25 June, 10am-11am - Whakawhanaungatanga - Wrap up session, Belinda Himiona, CEO, Te Pai Ora SSPA
