On Tuesday 12 November 2024, Prime Minister Chrisopher Luxon will make a formal public apology to survivors of abuse in care.
The deadline to register to see the apology in person at Parliament or at one of the 3 concurrent livestream venues has passed.
However, people can access the livestream themselves through the Crown Response to the Abuse in Care Inquiry's website.
