In this session, speakers discuss the connection of trauma and the body, and the ways in which somatic/embodiment practices can be integrated into the everyday work of supporting survivors of gender-based violence (GBV).

This session also aims to deepen understanding around the systemic and intersectional realities that impact trauma-informed embodiment work.  Speakers will share both innovative and practical ways in which these approaches can be further integrated into the work of supporting survivors of GBV.
