The Justice and Electoral Committee has released its report on the Family and Whānau Violence Legislation Bill.

The Select Committee's report recommends that the bill be passed with amendments.

The report includes a copy of the bill with the suggested amendments.

It also includes minority views from the Labour Party and the Green Party.

The bill will now proceed to Second Reading.

The Family and Whānau Violence Legislation Bill was introduced to Parliament in March 2017.
