Don’t let resistance stop you on your mission to prevent violence against women and achieve gender equality. Creating behavioural change is at the heart of this work and it’s no easy feat! That’s why DVRCV have purposely designed this training program to support and equip you with the strategies and tools you’ll need.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to identify the different forms and levels of resistance.
  • The core principles and strategies to apply when responding to forms of resistance.
  • Skills to open up dialogue and feel more confident in having challenging conversations.
  • Strategies to support your wellbeing when encountering resistance.

You’ll also receive a toolkit of tried and tested resources to help you create behavioural change in your work.

This training is for practitioners who work in the area of gender equality or in primary prevention of violence against women.

This training is designed for those working in Victoria, Australia but may be useful for people in New Zealand wanting to learn more about this topic.
