This training is an introduction to the essentials of safeguarding and child protection for youth workers.

You will gain confidence as a Youth Worker understanding the impact of child abuse and neglect, knowing what you can do to help prevent it happening and what to do when you are worried about a young person. This knowledge is essential for everyone who works with our rangitahi. You will also learn how to protect your workplace’s reputational risk profile.

This webinar is 2.5 hours with a 10 minute break and 20 minute Q&A’s included.
