This seminar will explore what family harm is and include an exercise involving a software programme used to convey the complexity of family violence incidents to police recruits.

This is an Oranga Tamariki Evidence Centre | Te Pokapū Taunakitanga seminar, featuring Senior Sergeant Michael Trotter of NZ Police.

Senior Sergeant Michael Trotter is the national coordinator for Family Harm Partnerships. He has worked in a number of different roles in police, mostly within the family harm space including Family Violence Manurewa and Whāngaia Ngā Pā Harakeke in Tairāwhiti and Paraparaumu.
