Te Rito South Canterbury is hosting Kathryn Berkett, to speak on the neurological effects of stress on the brain. This will include building resiliency in children, as well as recognising what is happening in the body when we are stressed and how to manage that response.
Kathryn relays this information in a down-to-earth, understandable way. Stress isn’t exclusive to those experiencing family violence, either, so this is going to be a great seminar with something for everyone who has felt on edge at some point in their lives.
