This one-day professional development workshop aims to improve the capacity of mainstream crisis services to better engage/help ethnic communities.

Register for the 25 July Te Matau-a-Māui | Hawke's Bay session.

Register for the 14 August Waihōpai | Invercargill session.

This training provides participants with material to reflect on, activities, case studies, as well as practical tools to take home, both for individual therapists and teams.

A survey link will be sent out to participants prior to the training which they are asked to complete ahead of the training. The survey results will help inform how the training is delivered. 

This training responds to shift 3 in Te Aorerekura’s ‘National Strategy to Eliminate Family Violence and Sexual’ -- Help ensure specialists, general, and informal workforces are equipped to safely respond, heal and prevent, and enable wellbeing. It is in the process of getting accredited.

There will be periodic breaks, light snacks, tea & coffee throughout. Attendees are asked to please bring their own lunch.
