The second independent monitoring report on ACC's progress in implementing a series of recommendations on claims in relation to sexual abuse has been released. The recommendations were made by the 2010 Sensitive Claims Clinical Pathway Review Panel, chaired by the report's author, Dr Barbara Disley. The report shows the number of new claims lodged dropped by 36% between 2008-2011. In 2011, just 3.6% of claims were accepted beyond an initial 16 sessions.
